Created over 30 years ago, The Riverside Restuarant and Crofters Coffee House is currently owned by Pat Isbill and Kirsty Hill.
Pat has just completed 30 years at Riverside where it has been a challenging and rewarding journey which has seen her rise through the ranks from Pastry Chef to become the owner of the business.
Pat was born and brought up in Kings Lynn. She worked in a local bakery and in kitchen's of local pubs before she became Pastry Chef at Riverside Restaurant in 1986. In 2006 the opportunity arose for her to buy the business. Pat currently shares ownership of the restaurant and coffee shop with her niece Kirsty Hill.
Kirsty, also born and raised in Kings Lynn worked as a Saturday girl and still did shifts when she was home from University. Kirsty gave up her career as a teacher to join Pat at the helm 5 years ago.
Riverside Restaurant and Crofters Coffee House is located in the town's historic core in a 15th Century building overlooking the waterfront. The restaurant was once the living accomadation for Lynn's merchants and families whilst the Coffee House, situated in a tunnel underground, is where boats once brought the goods in from the River.
Pat and Kirsty have a team of dedicated staff and have continued to build on the long standing reputation for good local, homemade food and friendly customer service.
